Board Members,

First, thank you for being positive and working through all the glitches today. All I can say is thank goodness today was a Mock Meet. There are some definite things we need to tweak before next week's dual meet.

1) We need to announce our sponsors and hang the banner. Dan, can you please type up a timeline for the DJ and add three times to announce our sponsors.

2) If you are not going to be at the meet or you need to leave early please let me know. I just sent out an email to all the parents about letting Deidre know if they can't make it to their shifts, so as a Board we need to do the same. All of us play some important role at the meet and things just don't work as well when we are not there. Since the Ready Bench is such a crucial part of our meet and it is the most difficult in many ways, if you have free time then please lend an extra hand.

3) Jean can attest to the fact that the scribe sheets were atrocious today. We must make sure we are all giving out the same information to avoid any miscommunications. There are many kids whose time wasn't  written down at all or inaccurately. That's not a huge deal for today's meet, but when kids are trying to qualify for Invitationals or for breaking records it is very important.

4) Our old grill had to be thrown away. Do we need to get another grill before Saturday?

5) Tim, can you please meet with the Kroger manager about the ice. Last year he told us that he would rather give us the ice than for us to buy all his bags of ice. The manager knew nothing when I sent John McDonald up there.

6) Dan, I plan on getting you the T-shirt order by tomorrow. Can you place the order with the T-shirt company Monday?

I don't want to seem picky, but we were there today much longer than I had anticipated. I'm hoping next week will run much smoother. Thank you again for being apart of this Board.
