Stephen's love for summer swimming began in his own neighborhood summer league swim team, which continued through high school, also playing basketball. He came back to coach the summer league team that introduced him to the sport as a young swimmer, until moving to Texas after college. He loves to see the friendship and growth that happens in a team context and is a teacher and swim coach at Frassati Catholic High School, where he has developed the varsity swim program since its beginning in 2015. He and his wife have 3 tadpoles ages 5, 3, and 1. Stephen is a USA swim coach and has loved working with Windrose swimmers since 2018.

I've been a competitive athlete for as long as I can remember and have been on many teams, football, soccer, rugby, swim you name it. I absolutely love swimming and swam for the Stingrays from the time I was 8 years old until I graduated. I have four siblings who also swam for the Stingrays, and we always enjoyed being on the team and competing against each other. I am really looking forward to coming back to the Stingrays again this year to help coach.
