The Windrose Stingrays will award graduating seniors with a scholarship at the end of each season starting in 2024. The award amount will depend on the annual budget, availability of funds, and the number of athletes. To receive the Stingrays Scholar Award, the athlete must meet all of the following criteria:

1. Have swum for 3 consecutive years leading up to and including the final year of eligibility.
2. Have been a Stingray in good standing during the last season of eligibility. A Stingray in good standing fully participates in a minimum of two dual meets and divisionals.

The purpose of the Stingray Scholar Award is to support our community youth in their extracurricular activities and continuing education beyond high school and encourage consistent participation of teens in the Windrose Community Swim Team. The terms of the scholarship may be changed at the discretion of the presiding board members.

All eligible award recipients should apply indicating their selected institution of continuing education. Funds will be issued directly to the continuing education institution upon receipt of student identification.

The 2024 deadline to apply for a scholarship is June 5, 2024.
