Stingrays,

I am attaching the timeline for Ponderosa (located at Klein Oak High School) and for Trinity (located at the Woodlands Natatorium behind the Home Depot on Research Forest). Trinity is expecting 1600+ swimmers over the 2 day meet. Saturday is for 10 and unders only and Sunday is for 11 and up. Ponderosa is sitting right around 880 swimmers. Saturday is for freestyle and backstroke events and free relays, and Sunday is for IM, breast, fly, and medley relays.

Coach Michael and I have been working on relays to make sure swimmers at Trinity can come to PI to swim. If you have questions please ask. If you are not planning on attending or if something comes up please contact one of us, so we can fill a relay. Please remember that relays can change and is up to the coach's discretion.

PI Warm-up: 7:10-7:30 AM

Trinity Warm-up: 6:40-7:00

We will have timing assignments at BOTH meets.

Ponderosa is a prelims/finals meet. If your swimmer swims their event and places in the top 16 then they will qualify for the finals which will be that evening around 5:00. Relays are swam as finals, and they do have a nice awards ceremony for the top 6 or 8 (honestly can't remember). Ponderosa set-up is inside the KO cafeteria just like Divisionals and Sprint Sizzler so bring your chairs.

Trinity is a finals meet just like the other meets we have swam in this summer. Your swimmer will swim their event one time. Trinity set-up is outside underneath the football stadium and then there is PLENTY of room to go see your swimmer at the Nat. On Sunday they will be running both pools for the older kids. The girls will swim in one pool and the boys will swim in one pool, so the meet will run a little faster on Sunday than on Saturday.

Hopefully, this will give you a lot of information for Saturday and Sunday. Rest and drink lots of water to help you prepare.
