Hello Stingrays!

Our Stingrays board is hugely critical to the success of the team each year and we need new thoughts, ideas, and energy for the 2022-2023 season! 

The board meets regularly and does all of the planning behind the scenes, so if you want to help shape the decisions for next year, this is your opportunity.

By serving on the board, all of your volunteer hours are covered and you get to park  near the clubhouse for home meets.

We'll have several positions open:

President

⁃Oversees recruitment of coaches and swimmers each season.

⁃Schedules meetings with the board to ensure all responsibilities for the development of swimmers and running of meets are filled. 

⁃Serves as the intermediary for communication between coaches, parents, and the board.

⁃Must be a resident of Windrose.

⁃Preferred NWAL certification.

⁃Preferred previous board experience. 

1st VP 

⁃Takes over responsibilities of the president in his/her absence.

⁃Supports president in responsibilities that may arise 

⁃Must be a resident of Windrose 

Clerk of Course 

⁃Responsible for entering swimmer information for meets before and during meets. ⁃Must earn NWAL Clerk of Course certification.

⁃Communicates with competing teams for meet entry coordination. 

⁃Gets to sit in air conditioning all day during meets 

Secretary 

⁃Responsible for communication with the team via Swimtopia, Remind, and Social Media 

⁃Gathers parent feedback via survey to inform board decisions for following season ⁃Keeps meeting minutes during board meetings.

Additional tasks delegated to board members as needed:

⁃Communicate with HOA directly regarding facilities and equipment maintenance ⁃Banquet and awards planning

⁃Pep Rally planning

⁃Additional fundraising events aside from sponsorships 

⁃Team suits coordination with vendor

⁃Shirts and caps ordering 

⁃Concessions planning

⁃AV equipment setup at all home-hosted events and maintenance

We will be putting together a ballot of names for each position to be voted on by the team at Banquet in a few weeks, so let any board member know by June 24th if you'd like to be considered!
