Hello Stingrays-

As Chuck said, great job again yesterday with the crazy weather and we very much appreciate those who got drenched helping with take-down-THANK YOU! 

Another busy week coming up, hopefully with much better weather. Please see reminders below.

• The rest of our dual meets are open now for RSVPs. Wednesday at 8pm is your cutoff for Rivershire this weekend. We need you to RSVP on time. Unless you are 99.99% sure you will not be at the meet (i.e. vacation), please select "attending" as it is easier for us to scratch you from a meet you've already entered than it is for us to add you in at a later date. If you are not sure you can make it because of other possible conflicts, just select "Attending, no relays" and pick your individual events anyway JUST IN CASE. You can leave notes to help as well.
• Splash Depot, our first invitational meet, is next Sunday, May 19th and details were sent out yesterday via email. Payment can be made by cash/check at the pool or via the Stingray Store- look for the "Invitational Meet Entry" option and add the number of events to the cart. WE DO NOT RUN THIS MEET, so late entries are not up to us. As such, please get your entries in on time by Tuesday the 14th at 3pm. Payment needs to be collected by Thursday the 16th. Also note that if you attend this meet, you will be expected to help with volunteer shifts asked of our team by the meet host. They do not count towards our regular season volunteer credits, but please be willing to step up and help if your child is swimming. Invitational meets require volunteers to run just like dual meets.
• If you still need a time trial this week, please let a coach know Monday or Tuesday during your practice time.
• Team T-shirts-last order should be in sometime this week.
• Ribbons will be up at the pool this week from the Northpointe meet, so please start checking the ribbon boxes. We give ribbons for the top 6 places in each individual event plus any personal bests.
• And lastly, Picture Day is Friday the 17th. Both individual and team pictures will be taken. More details will be sent out later on this, but Wade's Photography will probably start individual pics around 4:30 with team pic later around 5:30. No practice Friday afternoon. Setup and concession prep will happen as normal after the team pic is done.
